Greg Fey is the most recent addition to Not for a Billion and joined in May 2008. He plays the keyboard, and has been playing the piano since age 4. He first showed interest in playing piano after seeing a kid play piano on the Dick Van Dyke Show. He thought, "If THAT kid can do it, so can I!" His favorite musicians include Billy Joel, Bruce Hornsby (before he got weird), Vince Guaraldi, Les Paul, Flatt and Skruggs, Bela Fleck and Dave Weckl, and his favorite song to play is Billy Joel's Root Beer Rag. If you’ve been in St. Louis a few years, you may remember the song as the theme from Zip Rzeppa's sports bloopers, Zippo Awards. Greg has done a lot of solo work, but most of his group work has been basement jam sessions. When he goes to see performances, he prefers venues that are smaller and more intimate. Greg's musical talent doesn't end at playing the keyboard, though. He can also play the guitar and drums, and has dabbled with the 5-string banjo and wants to tackle the hammered dulcimer.
Greg works as a Project Manager / Business Analyst on the LaBarge projects. He started at Daugherty during the summer of ‘07. As Greg insists, "Music! It's a Daugherty job, but somebody's got to do it!"
